Joshua W. Potter represents clients in matters of social security disability and workers’ compensation. He began his career as a lawyer in 1981 and is admitted in California, the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, the U.S. District Court Central District of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He is a published author, having written works relating to social security disability, workers’ compensation, and their legal relationship to Fibromylagia. Mr. Potter has also lectured on Fibromyalgia to the National Organization of Social Security Attorneys and the National Fibromyalgia Associations. He is an occasional speaker for the Los Angeles U.S.C. Hospital’s Continuing Medical Education program on disability.

Mr. Potter has served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Social Security Disability Section. He attended the University of LaVerne College Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. He also earned his Master’s in History from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies. Mr. Potter speaks Mandarin and has a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of California.
