Bertram L. Potter has been an attorney since 1940 and concentrates his practice in the area of social security disability. He is admitted to practice in California, New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, the U.S. District Court Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Social Security Section and has lectured to colleagues through the California State Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives. Mr. Potter has also been called as an expert witness in the California Superior Court and at Congressional Hearings.

Mr. Potter has also contributed his time addressing Support Groups for victims of Fibromyalia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. He has spoken to the National Rheumatology Association and Kaiser Permanente. He also served as a Military Government Officer in the U.S. Army from 1942 – 1945.

Mr. Potter earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 1940. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
