Paul Potter limits his practice to state and federal criminal defense.  He has tried numerous complex cases including, RICO, homicide, fraud, narcotics and forfeiture matters.  Mr. Potter has been and attorney since 1980 and is admitted in California, the U.S. District Court Central and Southern Districts of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  Mr. Potter additionally speaks, reads and writes in Spanish.  He is an occasional contributor to the Editorial page of La Opinion where he writes on legal and literary themes.   

Mr. Potter is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, California Public Defenders Association, Los Angeles Criminal Courts Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Pasadena Bar Association, and the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association.  Mr. Potter obtained his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law in Los Angeles in 1980.
